The Roofing Company donated GAF Timerline HD Shakewood and Barkwood asphalt roofing shingles to Eagle Scout candidate Phillip Lombardi for covering feral cat shelters as part of his Eagle Scout project.

Troop 28 in Poquoson gathered together on Saturday, March 31, 2018 to build two cat shelters for the feral cat community under the care of Poquoson Animal Welfare Sanctuary (P.A.W.S.).  P.A.W.S. rescues abandoned, abused and neglected cats in the Poquoson area and provide a safe and loving place for them.

Phillip and his team specifically built the cat shelters for the feral cat community at P.A.W.S., which is part of the Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) efforts to control the outdoor cat population.  The shelters will provide a warm, dry and safe place for the outdoor cats to call home.

Phillip: “I am really thankful for the shingles you donated to me, I finished my eagle scout project and those shingles fit the cat shelters perfectly!”

You are so very welcome Phillip!  Thank you for donating your time and skill for such an amazing cause!! - The Roofing Company Team
