This month we have featured the "Reed House" in the Hampton Historical District on Victoria Boulevard. The house is undergoing major renovations, including a complete slate roof removal and reinstallation with Newmont Slate's patented Lightweight Slate Shield hook system, replacing the internal gutter lining and adding copper in various locations on the roof.
It was a real treat to visit the house and crew while they were working on it. You can read more about that in the blog below. After pictures will be uploaded once the project is completed, which will be in about a month or so. Enjoy!! Wishing everyone a safe Memorial Day Weekend.

Exterior renovations have begun on the Historical Reed House on Victoria Boulevard in the national historic district in Hampton, Virginia. This beautiful yellow brick home, unique for its dormers with elaborate crestings, is under the care of The Roofing Company to bring it close to it's original state when it was built c 1902.
Renovations on the Victorian Reed House are moving along nicely. Since the project is only minutes from the office and I was already out running an errand for work, I decided to stop by myself and see this major project underway. Currently, our amazingly talented crew is working on replacing the lining on the internal gutter system all the way around the multi-dimensional roofline.
